Class Descriptions________________________________________________________

Basic Class: Perfect for the new beginner, classes have a slower pace and focus on building awareness in basic postures.

Gentle Yoga for Stress Management:  Stretch out and relax during your lunch break!  Gentle warm up and stretching leads into an extended relaxation.

Gentle Vinyasa:  Great for beginners, those with injuries, or if you are just looking to relax.  Postures are linking in a flowing sequence incorporating the breath.

Open Level Vinyasa:  For the experienced beginner to advanced practitioners.  Postures are linking in a flowing sequence incorporating the breath, influenced by Jivamukti and Dharma Mittra Yoga.  Classes are often faster paced and give the student room to take more advanced or relaxed variations.  

** all classes (excluding Yoga for Stress Management) open and close with chanting, and incorporate breath work, meditation, and relaxation.

Class Descriptions________________________________________________

Basic Class: Our recommended class for new beginners. Classes have a slower pace and focus on building awareness in basic postures.

Community Yoga Classes: $5 suggested donation

Beginner / Intermediate Vinyasa: Good for beginners and intermediate students who are interested in a vigorous practice. The word vinyasa means “a joining or linking mechanism.” Postures are linked in a flowing sequence incorporating the breath.  This class includes step by step instruction for approaching more challenging poses, such as headstand. 

Open Level Vinyasa:  For the experienced beginner to advanced practitioners.  Classes are often faster paced and students may be introduced to approaching more advanced poses and inversions.  Students often have the option of taking more advanced or relaxed variations of postures.  

Intermediate / Advanced Vinyasa:  Advanced variations are encouraged. Not recommended for students new to the studio or new to yoga.

** All classes open and close with chanting, and incorporate breath work, meditation, and relaxation.  The classroom temperature is maintained between 75 and 80 degrees.
